i haven’t been to the abbey since my leaving cert when i saw Hamlet which was brilliant and would love to return for another dose of Shakespeare! please pick me for free tickets!

So I’ve never been to the Abbey, but that’s nothing to be ashamed of. What I’m ashamed of is the fact that I’ve lived in Dublin all my life, and I’ve even studied English in uni, with two separate Irish theatre modules and still never been. (To put that in context, I’ve been to Broadway twice this year already too…)

I just moved to Dublin and have never been to the Abbey, but my father in law has, and he loves Shakespeare and I’d love to take him!

I was at the abbey in jan with my mother and really enjoyed the playboy,and even if you do have to pay for the tickets its still great value,try the sat mats,even better value and you are home in time for match of the day.good luck with the production.

I went to the previews last Thursday (Cheaper) with 2 reluctant teenagers. Now they are converts to (the right production) of Shakespeare. It was very funny. two sets of twins, lots of insults, physical humour and Irish accents went down a treat.

When I was small my dad pointed at the Abbey and told me it was where monks lived. I thought that was true until about 3 years ago…

Never been to the Abbey.
Saw my first play “Death of Harry Leon” in Smock Alley a couple of weeks ago. ..
Loved it and want to see more now!
