Competition: Toyota’s IQ Test

Our very own Mr. Venntertainment was recently given a fancy schmancy Toyota IQ by…well, by Toyota. He’s testing it out over the next few months and is talking about it over on his own blog.

Having seen this photograph of his lovely car, he decided to run a little competition, where you could win iTunes Vouchers just by being a little creative.

I have a proposal for photographers and photoshoppers out there. For the next while, I’m going to be announcing a weekly photoshop competition, with iTunes vouchers up for grabs. I want you to to get clever with the Toyota iQ. Put it in the most unusual places, place it with the weirdest people or put the most unlikely things inside the car. Do what ever you can to get an effective and clever picture and be as creative as you like (within reason).

This week’s prize is €50 worth of iTunes vouchers UPDATE: SEE BELOW , which I think would be very nice. So nice in fact that I decided to enter myself:

Venntertainment also says that you don’t have to be a photoshopping wizard to enter (although, I think I’ve proven that) – he suggests that you “can do cool things with other tools”. Send your entries to rob [at] venntertainment [dot] com and the competition closes this Friday at 5pm. Hmm…good luck.

It’s the first of a number of these competitions he’ll be running weekly, so if you don’t manage to beat me this time, make sure you check back for the next one.

UPDATE: The stakes have been raised a little. The closing date has been extended to next Friday, 25th September and he is now offering 3 prizes

1st Prize – €60 iTunes voucher

2nd Prize – €40 iTunes voucher

3rd Prize – €25 iTunes voucher

    How does one enter, where do you email/post up the photoshopped image, when is the closing date, how many vouchers are up for grabs?

    After some very valid questions from Mr. Daragh Doyle, wanted to clarify a few lil points :-)

    The prize is being offered by myself and not Toyota. The submitter retains full rights to the picture, and the picture won’t be used by Toyota on their campaign, it will just be used on my oul blogaroo.

    Nice competition. Might just give it a shot.

    Toyota have failed miserably with the campaign though. There was no announcement that I saw of who the winners were. I tweeted them to ask and got no reply. Haven’t seen any central location where they aggregate the posts of the various winners either. Very poor show by them.
