Regards to the next film [2011-2012] I hear Abrams wants to revisit Khan, I am against that thought, and revisiting content from the original TV series, but be writing new material, myself anyway.. It would have been entirely unnecessary, even kitsch and I think Abrams should be commended for taking avoiding that kitsch factor. The whole Spock Prime passing by Sarek (or even conversing with him) is on the dvd's cut scenes I believe!
