Team Fortress 2 Free Weekend

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Team Fortress 2 is the best online multiplayer game ever. It’s perfectly balanced, competitive, insanely fun, cheap and above all doesn’t take itself in the slightest bit seriously. Valve’s now 2 year old masterpiece is free to play in it’s entirity for the weekend. It’s available to preload on PC now, so you can start playing straight away once it all goes live this evening. No charge, no catch, all you need is a Steam Account which is also free. It should run on pretty much any computer bought in the last 2-3 years. Already own Team Fortress 2? Did I mention there’s yet another completely free update to the game once again adding more content than most paid for DLC expansions.

If your only experience of online multiplayer is having a 13 year old racist shout down his headset because you lost yet another bog standard Modern Warfare 2 deathmatch then please, you owe it to yourself to try this out. Find me on Steam under “sirpipalot2054″ and I’ll see you for Sandviches in Badwater Basin. OM NOM NOM OM NOM
