Kick-Ass Will Kick Ass

I haven’t even seen it yet and I’m already expecting it to be one of the best movies of the year. Kick-Ass concerns a teenage boy, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero named Kick-Ass after being inspired by the heroes of comic books. He soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit-Girl (the brilliant Chloë Moretz), who are working to bring down the local drug baron Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong). He also meets another vigilante, Red Mist (Christopher ‘McLovin’ Mintz-Plasse), who has been inspired by Kick-Ass’s exploits.
