I would love to have one. I just totally humiliated myself by tweeting everyone that it was a Martha Byrne CD. I was listening to one of hers at the time. I think Martin would be a great companion to Martha! LOL I love acoustic guitar & used to play. I love all Irish songs and these songs sound fantastic! Since I just advertised both him and Martha – two great Byrne folk – I really think I deserve it now. I’m red faced but that would make me feel a whole lot better. Absolutely it would! Please pick me! And then please get one of Martha’s too to give away to the nice people who love this 100% Irish American lassie! Companion CDs! Works for me!

I already entered but after checking out Martin’s web site – reading about him, reading lyrics, listening to song clips – I have to add that this CD sounds fantastic! I’m one who loves this type of music. One of the songs particulary touched me – moved me to tears. It’s called “Flowers on the Water”. My dad and my grandpa both drowned – 20 yrs apart almost to the day. My grandpa was from Kilkeel, County Down. Although both were recovered – my dad’s drowning was from an overturned boat and the search for his body took 3 days. Very touching song! I love the “Ireland My Ireland” one too & hope I can someday visit the homeland. All of the songs sound like they’d ge great. Hope you don’t mind my adding this. I just want people to check it out further.
