I went to see Inception last week and thought it was brilliant.
Before the film, caught some new previews or trailers that looked very good.
Directed by Ben Affleck.
Starring Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Pete Postlethwaite and Blake Lively.
This is based on a Dennis Lehane book about Charlestown, Massachusetts .. bank robbers, the police, the town’s peoples and I think the code there that no one ever informs on the darker elements without the usual swift and lethal retribution.
The website is very interesting, click on the image above.
The cast includes original Tron actors Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner, and features Olivia Wilde as Quorra, Garrett Hedlunnd as Sam Flynn, Michael Sheen as Castor, and James Frain as Jarvis. Not much about the storyline out there, the trailers just showing hints, mostly showing the flashy cyber world and light cycles. I cannot wait to see this, which debuts here in the US on December 17th.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter books and films and cannot wait until the first part of the final book makes it to the big screen. It is supposed to be filmed entirely in 3D which should be most interesting. I love the trailer, shows a lot of passion, including the musical score. Part I will be in theatres here in November, Part II in July of 2011.
Last and most likely least in Culchie land
M. Night Shyamalan is a writer on this film.
Even though not into scary films, as the sole remaining fan of his
I will go see this.

Looking forward to Harry Potter mostly, but Tron Legacy looks great too
Ben Affleck seems like an interesting director (even if his acting roles have dwindled to naught) and that’s a good cast, so The Town looks worth checking out. Devil looks good too, as i like a good horror concept (even if MKS latest films have been pants).
I’ve been writing about The Town over on Scannain and I believe that it could be very good indeed. The trailer is very impressive and Affleck is showing a real talent behind the camera.
Tron: Legacy looks amazing so far and any chance to see Jeff Bridges in action is welcome in my book.
Harry Potter 7 is shaping up nicely. The teaser poster with Hogwarts on fire showed just the right amount of potential darkness in this one, and the trailer was suitably bombastic. Not sure about the addition of 3D but I will definitely be catching it.
The Devil has a marvellous premise, a bold trailer and some very crafty marketing so far. Only the Shymalan name is detracting from the anticipation on this one.
There are a few more movies that should be worth looking out for in the next 5 months:
