Events: It’s Capital’s Comedy Club’s birthday!
Jan 22nd marks the 7th birthday of Capital Comedy Club. From its humble beginnings on the January 23rd 2005, it has gone from strength to strength, establishing itself on the Irish comedy circuit attracting both Irish and visiting tourist comedy goers. It has attracted comedians such as Des Bishop, Tommy Tiernan, and Jason Byrne to name but a few.
To help celebrate this prestigious birthday, Capital have a stellar line up which includes the hyper yet lovable Fred Cooke. Fred’s unique style of comedy is sometimes indescribable, and the only words that come to mind are manic and insane… he is well worth going to see.
Also on the line is Robbie Bonham. Robbie has established himself as a hard hitter on the Irish comedy scene. He is immensely funny and you would be mad to miss this opportunity to see him.
I am also reliably informed there is a “special guest” on the night… woohoo!
And of course, the regular MC Mr Simon O’Keeffe will be on duty for the evening.
This is shaping up to be a very fun night with some surprises along the way. I’ll be there; will you?
