Events: Captains Live Comedy celebrates its 2nd Birthday.

Captains Live Comedy, in Captain America’s in Tallaght, celebrates its 2nd birthday on the 26th January. During its 2 years, the club has gone from strength to strength and as if they don’t already spoil their customers, to help celebrate their birthday they have some great Irish comedians on the line up.

Fred Cooke

Topping the bill is the whirlwind that is Fred Cooke. Fred performs a unique playful brand of musical comedy to audiences throughout Ireland and abroad. Hopefully the sunstroke will have eased off, and he gets the sand out of his h*le from his recent stint at the McGettigan’s Irish Comedyfest in Dubai.

Simon O'Keeffe

Simon O’Keeffe is the regular MC at the Capital Comedy Club. Simon is edgy and one to catch if at all possible. He is a joy to watch on stage and will definitely have you wanting more.

Also on the night are Paul Heaney, the first local man to grace the stage, Chris Mono, back after his debut, and Fabu D, and Alan Kavanagh has just finished abusing Jedward for the month of December and is making a long-awaited return.

Your MC for the night is the regular Ruairi Campbell.

This looks like it’s going to be a fun packed night. I’ll be heading along. You should join me.

Where: Captain America’s, Tallaght (upstairs)
When: January 26th
Time: 9.30pm
