Events: Seasons Supper Club
Thursday, February 2nd, 2012Seasons Supper Club is a pop-up dining experience run by former Masterchef Ireland contestants Brídín Carey, Conal Markey and Richard Speedie. ‘Winter’ is the theme next chapter in the Supper Club story and the event will be hosted by Mark Matanes at Eden restaurant next Friday February 10th.
All three of the Seasons Supper Club team share the same love of great food in a relaxed atmosphere. The idea behind Supper Club is first and foremost to enjoy the event with friends or family. To create an environment where the food is only one aspect of a great night out and where guests will remember the whole evening – food, setting, and company.
Speaking to Culch.ie, Conal Markey explains: ‘the theme is inspired by the nation’s perpetual season, ‘Winter’. We hope guests will spend the entire evening enjoying a meal where we have tried to source all ingredients locally and feature the great produce we create in Ireland’. He adds: ‘we utilise local farmers, foragers and producers’ products where possible throughout all our menus’.
The renowned Michael Durkin and his team will be working with Brídín, Conal and Richard on the night of February 10th aiming to create a warming and comforting Winter menu, where the focus is on flavour all the way.
Places on the night are limited so get a move on and book your place through Mark Matanes at 01-6705372 (a number now burned onto my brain thanks to his dodgy rapping on the Eden ad on Phantom 105.2 .. thanks Mark).
Go on...say something...
