Over the past week we’ve been trying something new. The Format, our pop culture web TV experiment, is the result of many hours of planning, filming and editing.
As it is a pilot, filmed in Culch Towers (AKA Darren and Sinéad’s apartment), we would really love to hear your feedback. How did we do? What works? What would you change? Should we keep it up? What would you like to see us covering if we do? Any and all thoughts would be appreciated – we’re on a learning curve and we want to be better able to produce a show that viewer’s can have input on and look forward to.
Oh, make sure you look out for the great viewer competition from Meteor.
We wanted to bring together all of the many topics we cover on Culch.ie, present them to you in a different way, show you what we look like beyond our tiny little avatars, and have fun. In the pilot, Darren and Sue talk Oscars ahead of tonight’s big event; Sue tells us a bit about the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival; Sinéad chats The Voice of Ireland ahead of tonight’s show; Seán, Aaron and Sinéad go vox popping on the streets of Dublin; the panel discuss celebrity funerals; Anthony heads into the kitchen for Cooking with Anto; Seán and Anthony join Darren on the sofa to discuss the Meteor Choice Music Prize and the launch of PlayStation Vita; Sinéad reviews Rough Magic’s Plaza Suite which is currently running at the Gaiety and we pick our favourite bit of internet at the moment that everyone should check out.
As the added cream on top of a seriously jam-packed pie, the good people at Meteor have given us a pair of tickets to the Meteor Choice Music Prize and a Sony Ericsson Live to give away to one lucky viewer. Just answer the question in the video and send it along with your name and contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org. The closing date is Friday March 2nd.
