Alice in Wonderland – The 1903 Version
The first film version of the classic tale has been restored by the British Film Institute and was made 8 years after the birth of cinema. The original ran for 12 minutes and was the longest film produced in England at the time. Lots more on the story behind the restoration process on the BFI website.
